The officer of Blue Sky Landscaping, said that he uses Facebook to get new residential customers. For corporate customers, he said it was a “hit the bat home run” approach. He still continues to expand his client base. The economy hasn’t slowed him down, he still has room to grow in this industry.
Another company, Childer Lawn Care, comes around with a different approach. Joe Childers doesn’t have a website or uses the internet. He encourages the traditional way of contacting people. He says, “if you need anything, just call me.” New client numbers are down so he focuses on keeping prices low. He has been in business for 19 years and does not want to risk losing his current client base.
